Thousands inspired to grow food at home during Cardiff lockdown
Almost 14,000 plants, seeds and growing kits are being distributed during lockdown as part of a city-wide campaign to encourage people to grow their own vegetables. A team of 70 volunteers across 16 projects will reach over 3,000 households with seeds or plants, with more than 100 people joining online growing classes.
Matsudai Ramen launch ‘build a bowl’ kits for home delivery
From Monday 8th June, one of Cardiff’s most popular pop-up kitchens will be offering frozen, handmade ramen kits for home delivery. Matsudai Ramen’s handmade kits will cost £7.50 and contain broth, tare (complex seasoning), aroma oil and a bundle of specially paired noodles.
